Inspired by the myths, folklore and ancient landscapes of Cornwall, Wild Woodland Summer Dance invites audiences deeper into Rogue’s land between worlds, where stories from land and sea come alive, the fae wander the woodland paths, and the impossible feels just within reach.

This is not theatre as you know it.

As the woods stir from winter sleep, Wild Awake celebrates renewal, growth and the first signs of magic returning to the landscape

The Height of Summer
As summer begins its slow turn towards autumn, the woodland is alive with stories, music and long golden evenings. Myths wander beneath the trees and the woods are full of summer dreams.
HALLOWEEN
When the Veil Grows Thin
As Samhain approaches and darkness gathers, the boundaries between worlds begin to blur. Firelight flickers through the trees and wild magic stirs beneath the autumn moon.
WINTER WOOD
Deep Winter Magic
The heart of the Rogue year. A winter celebration of wonder, storytelling and light in the darkest days of the season.
FIREBIRD WILL RISE AGAIN
Rogue’s epic tale of love, fire heartbreaking bewitchment will blaze again in 2027.
For many years Rogue’s summer season has included a second, darker journey after sunset – a twilight world of firelight, music, myth and transformation.
Firebird is the darker heart of Rogue’s Land Between Worlds – a mythic twilight world of live music, movement, firelight and powerful ancient stories.
While Firebird rests this year, gathering fire for its return, the spirit of those twilight adventures remains woven through the evening performances of Wild Woodland Summer Dance.
Evening performances of Wild Woodland Summer Dance will carry the spirit of Firebird – richer, darker and more atmospheric as twilight falls beneath the trees.

For over fifteen years Rogue Otherworld has been gathering people beneath the trees of Tehidy Woods to share stories, celebrate the seasons and explore the wildness that lives in all of us.
Each year thousands of people join us for adventures lit by firelight and starlight, filled with myth, music, laughter, wonder and otherworldly magic. From epic woodland journeys to our gloriously mischievous Dead Night Dance, where dark humour, underworld spirits and playful chaos take centre stage, every gathering offers its own doorway into the extraordinary.
Rooted in the landscape of Cornwall and inspired by stories from across the world, Rogue is a place to reconnect — with nature, imagination, community and the deeper rhythms of the seasons. We believe stories belong around the fire, beneath ancient trees, where earth, sky, memory and imagination meet between the wild and the deep blue sea.
