Dead of Night Dance is back this Halloween!
So, gather shadows and adventurous souls…
Trick or treat yourself this Samhain…
With a ticket to the under-land wonderland,
Life has more lustre… in the Dead of Night!
WITH BRAND NEW STORIES
All new dead good stories to tickle your ribs, thrill your spirits and chill your bones!
Wander the winding woodland path and through Mr Logan’s gate into the land of the rapturously dead, where lost souls await, to show you the way, and mislead you to the Dead of Night Dance.
Rest in the peace of the underworld forest and chill, as a collection of wild and bewitching stories come to life on Mrs Logan’s Otherworld stage!
And then… at the end… after the final curtain; raise your spirits with a party, shake your bones, at the Dead of Night Dance Disco!
A WILD SPELL OF HALLOWEEN MAGICK
Dead of Night Dance weaves a wild spell of imagination, magick and Halloween humour, stirring in live music, storytelling, immersive theatre, dance and a twist of bewitching spectacle.
The adventure follows a path through the woods into the land of the dead and ends in our magnificent black and silver striped big top — the theatrical heart of our Otherworld in the woods (which will keep you dry should it rain… which it won’t!).
Dress for the weather of this world and the chills of the underworld.
WHEN THE VEIL GROWS THIN…
There is an older story beneath Halloween.
At Samhain, as the year turns towards winter and the nights grow long, the boundary between this world and the Otherworld was said to grow thin.
Here in Cornwall, those old stories still haunt the landscape — witches and wise folk, ghosts and giants, piskies and beasts, ancient places, strange happenings and doorways to somewhere else.
Dead of Night Dance stirs those old threads into the cauldron with everything we love about Halloween now — dressing up, pumpkins, ghosts, dancing, laughter, theatre and a wicked amount of wild humour.
Ancient folklore meets modern Halloween.

CHOOSE YOUR DEAD OF NIGHT
There are four ways into the Otherworld.
And as the daylight fades, the Dead of Night changes with it.
12:00 — THE FIRST DANCE
The Otherworld by daylight.
Autumn leaves, strange encounters, woodland mischief and Halloween magick for brave adventurers of all ages.
14:30 — THE SECOND DANCE
The shadows are beginning to stretch.
The jack-o’-lanterns glow a little brighter and something strange is stirring between the trees…
17:00 — THE DUSK DANCE
The veil grows thin. The lanterns glow brighter. The woods begin to change.
Come as daylight slips away and the Dead of Night begins to live up to its name.
19:30 — THE DARK DANCE
THE DARK HAS THE WOODS.
The lanterns are lit. The paths disappear into shadow. The Otherworld is wide awake.
Our darkest Dead of Night — for those who like their Halloween with a little more bite.
The later you come, the darker it gets.
Choose your adventure accordingly.
ADVENTURERS OF ALL AGES
The Dead of Night Dance is for brave adventurers of all ages.
The atmosphere is playful, comic, mischievous, magical and spooky… you will be in the woods at Halloween after all!
Spooky, not gruesome. Mischievous, not terrifying.
Ghosts, ghouls, vampires, monsters, witches, beasts and possessed souls all welcome.
Fancy dress, fangs and pumpkins are encouraged — all ages.
“Halloween is my favourite time of year. When the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest, thin enough to let a few ghouls ghost on out, thin enough to let a few of the living waltz on in, and each year The Dead of Night Dance just gets more wickedly brilliant. See you at the gates to the land of the dead for one of the best nights of your life!”

Check your reflection when you get home, for the chances are, you’re not quite the same.
THE WITCH’S KITCHEN AND CAULDRON
At the woodland heart, the Witch’s Kitchen refreshment tent serves delicious hot chocolates (with a boozy option for the adults).
The witches serve reasonably priced snacks and refreshments before the show, with hot drinks, cold drinks, beer, wine, cider, crisps, cakes and chocolate.
And after the show, the witches lift the lid on the cauldron that bubbles on the fire.
Treat yourself to the magic of Rogue’s otherworld famous – WILD WOODLAND VEGETABLE STEW (stirred with magic and a Halloween twist) and served with bread.
YOUR NIGHT IN THE WOODS
For your woodland adventure we recommend you bring a warm and waterproof coat, shoes for the forest — wellies if it has been wet.
(It’s worth bringing an extra layer as the temperature can drop quickly when the veil is thin).
If you’re coming for one of the dark performances be prepared for shadows of the forest, though the woods are lit with our wonderful festoons.
There will be hay bales to sit on, though feel free to bring cushions if you don’t mind carrying them.
There are also several high-backed chairs for those who’d rather.
The whole adventure lasts around two hours and takes place in the woodland, so come prepared whatever the weather.
The main theatre performance takes place beneath our black and silver striped big top.
Dead of Night Dance will run on time, like the planets that align.
