Rogue returns to Tehidy Woods, North Cliffs this December with a wild-magic celebration of winter; Winter Wood!
Follow the path into the Winter Wood and lose yourself in the dreamscape of nature.
Gather, as Old Man Winter weaves flying deer magic with ember tales, and star songs of night’s mysteries as he catches wishes whispered to the changing winds.
Created by Cornwall’s award winning immersive and highly visual Rogue Otherworld,
Winter Wood is an immersive adventure for families and those who seek the magic we often forget.
The star-studded crown of Rogue’s annual cycle of seasonal events in Tehidy Woods; Winter Wood is a bewitchment to behold; as we pass, full of wonder, from one year into the next.

Twice listed in the Guardian Newspaper’s Top 10 Christmas Walks, winner of a What’s On Cornwall Award for “Best Theatre Show” and Gorsedh Kernow (The Bards of Cornwall) Medal for Cultural Contribution;
Winter Wood is a unique festive marvel, set in the heart of the Winter Wood, it is part exhilarating walk through the trees and part gathering in a warm tent where a magical story comes to life.
There will be a show with live music, festive stories, winter wonders and a warm marquee to sit down to watch the show (with a reasonably priced bar that serves delicious hot chocolates, mulled wine and mince pies, snacks and crisps (among other festive treats).
Each Winter Wood lasts around 2 hours and includes an enchanting walk through the Winter Wood and a wondrous sat down theatre experience in Old Man Winter’s Midwinter Grotto.
There are toilets here too.
There is a one-way path from here (a short cut) that will lead you safely back to your car.
Winter Wood celebrates the Cornish winter weather with a short walk through the magical forest before you arrive at the heated marquee.
The show will go ahead in all but the most extreme conditions, so dress for the weather and the magic of winter!
Winter Wood gathers 4 times a day;

TICKETS
£12.50 Invest in Rogue Tickets. Choose to pay a little bit more and invest in the creation of future magic!
£10 General Tickets (all ages). Ages 1, 2 and 3 years are free and don’t need a ticket.
£7.50 Affordability Discount Tickets are available. Simply email [email protected] and request an affordability discount code for the number of tickets you wish to purchase and we will send you a discount code to enter when you process your order.
£7.50 Wild Card Tickets. This is an opportunity to extend your generosity and buy a ticket as a gift for somebody who couldn’t otherwise take part. When you buy a Wild Card Ticket you are paying it forward, enabling somebody who could not otherwise afford to come to take part, and, at the same time you are supporting Rogue to continue doing what we do best!
Each year hundreds of audience members take part with a Wild Card thanks to the generosity of other audience members.
Wild Card is an opportunity for those who would like to invest in our wild immersive theatre to do so by passing on the magic, buying a ticket, a Wild Card for an unknown friend.
If you would like to donate a Wild Card you can do so by simply adding a £7.50 Wildcard to your order.

Whilst Winter Wood is in the wild old wood, we are committed to overcoming obstacles and making our immersive events as accessible as possible. ARRIVAL
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time to park your vehicle and to make your way to meet The Box Office Faerie.
Please keep to the tarmac track and follow the guidance of Francis The Parking Man, he is there to help.
You can arrive up to 30 minutes before your booking time (to keep vehicle numbers down in the car park).
WINTER WOOD will run on time like the stars that align.
15 minutes before your start time please gather at the Box Office in your group. The Box Office Faerie will be expecting you!
FINDING US
Tehidy Woods North Cliffs is situated between Portreath and Gwithian on the B3301. Rogue uses a separate parking area to the Tehidy North Cliffs Car Park; if approaching from the west (Gwithian) keep your eyes out for our entrance on the right, if coming from the east (Portreath) it will be on your left.
